Temple Fortune Lodge

Contextual design for a back-land development in Hampstead, London Borough of Barnet. The design of the single storey four-bed dwelling is influenced by the architecture of the Hampstead Garden suburb and the Arts and Crafts moment. The proposed design is inspired by the neighbouring Temple Fortune House in style and materiality. The single storey flat roof and proposed landscape design is a fitting addition to the garden suburb, providing urban greening and biodiversity and a significant improvement for the existing low grade garage structures which currently occupy the site.
