Home Office

With many people working from home in recent times Metashape have developed a sustainable home office that can be located in the garden. The structure is made from SIPs panels which have exceptional thermal performance and significantly lower embodied energy than traditional construction materials. The office dimensions are designed to suit a panel width in order to minimise construction waste. The south-facing façade is made from GreenCoat standing-seam metal cladding which is 100% recyclable and with a sustainable bio-based coating made from natural ingredients. The cladding is fitted with photovoltaics (PV), integrated into the roof which is set at the optimum pitch for PV efficiency, and creates enough electricity to power lights and a computer.
